Course Description

As of May 16, 2022 the Ontario Ministry of Transportation announced the release of an updated Ontario Traffic Manual Book 7 – Temporary Conditions (new revised 2022). Electronic versions of the office and field editions are available for download now, and print versions will be available in the future. We are currently schedule training programs will be referencing the 2022 edition of the OTM Book 7 (Orange Book).

Rescue 7 Inc. provides traffic control training that aligns with the Ontario Traffic Manual (OTM) Book 7 – Temporary Conditions, while also incorporating our unique procedures and policies. This approach ensures a comprehensive understanding of traffic control and the various elements that play a role in its execution.

Our training programs go beyond just meeting the OTM Book 7 minimum standards; they equip your team with essential skills for effectively planning, setting up, organizing, and managing temporary traffic control. Many employees find themselves working in active traffic zones, which necessitates a thorough understanding of specific legislative requirements outlined in the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Ontario Regulation 213/91 for Construction Projects, and the Highway Traffic Act. This course emphasizes these important regulations, ensuring that workers are fully informed and compliant.
