Return and Refund Policy


Product Orders – Return & Refund Policy

Customers may only purchase or order items for non-commercial and lawful purposes and any other use is not permitted.  Customers agree for all charges noted herein as payable by the customer.  You must be 18 or older to purchase from the website.  Any items purchased on this website will not be delivered to an address outside of Canada.

Rescue 7 Inc. may correct errors or inaccuracies and change or update information on this website at any time without notice, including prices and availability of items.  All prices on this website are in Canadian dollars and will be processed in Canadian dollars.  Rescue 7 Inc. will not pass ownership or title of any product or order until payment has been received in full.

Rescue 7 Inc. reserves the right to limit the quantities of certain items for purchase through this website.  Rescue 7 Inc. will use commercially reasonable efforts to deliver items as quickly and efficiently as possible and within time periods indicated; however, Rescue 7 Inc. will not be responsible for any delivery delays beyond the control of Rescue 7 Inc. and will notify the customer of any delays as soon as possible.  Rescue 7 Inc. will provide shipment tracking information when applicable and Rescue 7 Inc. is not responsible for lost or stolen shipments.

Returns to Rescue 7 Inc. will not be accepted after 30 days of invoice date.  Any returns of product to Rescue 7 Inc. must be approved of by Rescue 7 Inc. and will be subject to inspection by Rescue 7 Inc. that the product was not opened, utilized, or damaged in order for the customer to receive a refund.  Rescue 7 Inc. reserves the right to deny customers of a refund for any reason.  Rescue 7 Inc. will apply a twenty percent (20%) re-stocking fee to all returned orders.

Course – Cancellation & Refund Policy

If you are not able to attend the course you registered for, you must provide Rescue 7 Inc. with at least 5 business days of your cancellation in writing by email (training@rescue7.net)prior to the start time of course, or the full cost of training based on the confirmed number of participants will apply and you will not be eligible for a refund. For all Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) courses, requires a minimum of 10 business days of cancellation as stated in booking confirmations.

If sufficient advance notice is provided Rescue7 Inc. will refund 100% of the course fee paid. A letter of cancellation will be issued with a unique cancellation code and a refund will be processed. Participants wishing to reschedule have the option to apply their fee as a credit against a subsequent Rescue 7 Inc. training course within 2 months of the date of the canceled course subject to a $50 administration fee.

Some courses have a required minimum number of participants. If Rescue 7 Inc. must reschedule a course for this or any other reason, Rescue 7 Inc. will reschedule the course as soon as possible but participants will be given the option for a refund.

 

Policy for Late Participants

If a participant arrives past the scheduled training session date start time (10minutes grace period) participants will not be permitted to attend the scheduled training session and will be required to reschedule. A $50 non-refundable fee to re-schedule into the next available training session will apply. No refund will be given.

 

Policy for Absent Participants With No Written Notice

Participants who do not attend the scheduled training session, will be given a grade of ‘0’, the course status will reflect ‘Fail’. No refund will be given.

 

Policy for Absent Participants Due to an Emergency

Participants must advise Rescue 7 Inc. immediately if they are unable to attend a scheduled training session due to an emergency. A $50 non-refundable fee to re-schedule and attend the next available training session will be waived. No refund will be given.

Special Refund Policy “A” (applies to eLearning and blended eLearning courses)

A full refund for all e-Learning and blended learning courses (online, hybrid, webcast, videoconference) will be issued only if received in writing 5 business days prior to the the access/invitation code being issued. Refund requests received after that date may be granted only on a case-by-case basis, upon review by Rescue 7 Inc., and will be assessed a minimum $50 drop fee. NO refunds will be granted on or after the start date of the e-Learning and/or blended learning course.

 

Policy for Late Participants

If the participant is not within the two-week required attendance of Day-2 Practical Training session, the participant must repeat the entire course. No refund will be given.
