Course Description

In this one-day recertification course, participants will revisit essential first aid techniques for handling life-threatening emergencies while awaiting medical assistance. This course provides an opportunity for students to actively practice and demonstrate their skills.

Persons assigned to respond to emergencies in the workplace or community as well as those who want to learn first aid, CPR and AED skills.

Certification is valid for 3-years from the date of completion.

The Standard/Intermediate First Aid with CPR & AED Recertifictaion Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines, where recertification sessions are allowed.
