Course Description

In this one-day recertification course, students will review the first aid interventions for life-threatening emergencies until medical aid arrives. This course gives participants to practice their skill demonstrations.

Persons assigned to respond to emergencies in the workplace or community as well as those who want to learn first aid, CPR and AED skills.

Certification is valid for 3-years from the date of completion.

The Standard/Intermediate First Aid with CPR & AED Recertifictaion Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines, where recertification sessions are allowed.
