Each pre-assembled kit contains: a hard-shell zipper case; 2 single-dose NARCAN® (naloxone HCl) Nasal Spray devices (4 mg/0.1 mL) with patient medication insert (English and French); 1 one-way rescue breathing barrier; 1 pair of non-latex gloves; 1 card that identifies the person trained to give naloxone; 1 page of instructions on how to respond to an opioid poisoning (English and French).
NARCAN® Nasal Spray is used to treat someone who has overdosed on opioids. It can be used by anyone to reverse the effects of the overdose until medical help arrives.
