Rescue 7 Sponsors the Centennial College Firefighting Team
In 2019, Rescue 7 sponsored the Centennial College Firefighting team when they competed in the annual FireFit Championships. From advancing a fully-charged hose line, to racing up 40-foot tower, and even rescuing a victim (165lb “Rescue Randy” the mannequin), six of Centennial’s Pre-Service Fire students competed in both men’s and women’s relays, as well as individual events.
