Weekly Review: March 27th-April 2nd

We had our first (amazing) experience working with the Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto in November 2016, when the whole Rescue 7 team cooked and served dinner to families in need. Now, we’re back again, and this time CEO John Collie will be working the frontline with the McDonald’s Canada team at Highway 7 and McCowan Road in Markham! Be sure to drop by and contribute to #McHappyDay!

“I had the privilege of taking the train the trainer this weekend with Ray Chapman. I just wanted to tell you how impressed I was with your organization. Ray was an exceptional trainer, probably the best I have ever witnessed. He was interesting, personable, likeable, and extremely knowledgeable. The weekend flew by as the training was so interesting and entertaining. I learned a great deal from Ray and feel very confident because of his ability as a trainer to be able to be successful in the final audit. Again, I can’t express enough how great Ray was as well as Rescue 7 as an organization.” — Kevin G.
“The students that attended the first aid course at Calgary NLC from Rescue 7 wanted me to pass along a kudos to their instructor Bob H. Not only was Bob knowledgable in his material, he also gave them reassurance and confidence to use standard first aid. Thanks again Bob!”

Working At Heights (WAH) training requirements came into force on April 1, 2015, requiring that employers must ensure that workers on construction projects successfully complete a working at heights training program approved by the Chief Prevention Officer (CPO) and delivered by a CPO-approved training provider before they can work at heights.

Workers had until April 1, 2017 to complete an approved working at heights training program. However, THE DEADLINE IS BEING EXTENDED TO OCTOBER 1, 2017, lengthening the transition period by six months in specific circumstances.

There are 2 Rescue 7 WAH courses coming up. Click to register:
