An important story that follows along the lines of our very own Chase McEachern, Cathal Joyce was saved by a Heartsine AED after collapsing on the soccer pitch. Joyce’s situation is one of thousands, and AEDs are the key to success stories and healthy lives post-cardiac arrest.

“It is believed that Joyce’s heart stopped for several seconds but he was aided by his brother James, the team’s physio, Rosemount player Dr. Patrick Boland and Athlone vice-chairman Gordon Brett.”
