Rescue 7 is proud to announce that one of our very own SAM AEDs will be accompanying Dr. Jennifer Wilson and a team of doctors as they travel to Ghana. The team is going to both work and assist in building a hospital. Hopefully, once the hospital is built, some Rescue 7 AEDs will be permanent fixtures on the walls! Below is an overview of the trip, and here is the link to the team’s blog. We will update you as the notifications come in!
CEO John Collie has been selected to sit on a steering committee with the CSA (Canadian Standards Association), with the goal of analyzing and recommending one standard regulation for first aid in all of Canada. Currently, all provinces have similar but different regulations and requirements. A standardized set of expectations is exciting for the Rescue 7 team, as that could mean a much more widespread and accessible first aid market!
John Collie and team attended the Meridian Credit Union Small Business Annual Address, with guest speaker Harry Rosen (pictured below)!
On Wednesday November 5th and Thursday November 6th, Rescue 7 hosted a delegation from Bermuda. Our products and training will be used for the upcoming 35th America’s Cup of sailing, happening in Fall 2017!
Team members Michele and John represented Rescue 7 at the Dave Mounsey Memorial Foundation’s annual “Dancing with the Stars” event on Saturday, November 7th. The foundation donated their 50th Rescue 7 HeartSine AED! Amazing! (photos below)
John McEachern also attended the St. John and Rotary free CPR clinic, to discuss the Chase McEachern Memorial Fund. (photos below)
