Rescue 7 Weekly Review: June 29th-July 5th
This Friday, July 10th, the Pan-American torch relay will end its Ontario odyssey with the official opening of the Toronto Pan-American Games. Rescue 7 has proudly been with the torch every step of the way, from Orangeville to Milton, from Parliament Hill to our very own Markham. Each and every torchbearer has been under the protection of the Ontario Provincial Police, and by extension, a Rescue 7 AED. Though CEO John Collie hopes no one should ever need it, chances of survival should something happen greatly increase with the presence of the AED and those who are properly trained to use it. Rescue 7 has received much applause about the protection and peace of mind provided; below are some of the news sources who touch upon Rescue 7’s assistance during this exciting time.

It is with great pleasure to announce that Rescue 7 has teamed up with John McEachern to keep his son’s dream alive – to put defibrillators in as many places as possible to save lives. For those of you who do not know Chase McEachern’s story, we will be following up this announcement with a short video explaining John’s (and Chase’s) collaboration with Rescue 7.
Having said that, John has joined the R7 Team to raise funds for Chase’s Tribute Fund. Rescue 7 will accept donations that go directly to the Fund so we can donate defibrillators to charities and not for profit organizations.
