John Collie

John was a Toronto Firefighter from 1988 to 2008 and served in various capacities with TFS.  He served on a heavy rescue vehicle for fifteen years responding to high angle rescues, hazardous material spills, confined space search and rescues and auto extrication.  Since becoming President of Rescue 7 in 2006, John has traveled extensively implementing emergency procedure programs to various organizations including South Gobi Sands LLC mining company in Mongolia. He was featured on the Dragon’s Den (Season 3 Episode 11) and facilitated the rise of Rescue 7 to the top 500 fastest growing companies in Canada for 2012, 2013 and 2014. Written publications include Profit 500 Magazine and other various trade magazines. Featured articles in both the Toronto Star and Globe & Mail. Selected as Markham’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 2013, John is a contributing author for various trade magazines and has travelled extensively to consult (Mongolia, China, Germany, and Caribbean) and speak at conferences. John sits on various Boards including the CSA’s Task Force for First Aid Regulations, Markham Sport Hall of Fame and the Canadian Security Lifesaving Awards.  John and his wife Maureen have four grown children and reside in Markham, Ont.

Norm Goldberg

Since 2006, Norm has been an active Rescue 7 Inc. Instructor-Trainer in Ontario and Quebec. In 2019, Norm was promoted to Rescue 7’s Director of Training. Norm was a Paramedic (A.E.M.C.A) with Cote St. Luc EMS (Emergency Medical Services) and is a certified BCLS/AED Master Trainer with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (Quebec), a CSST Instructor (Quebec) and a National Lifesaving Examiner.

Michele McCabe

A graduate from the University of Toronto, Michele joined Rescue 7 Inc. in 2007 as our General Manager. Her current role includes supporting provincial and territorial regulatory mandates, managing the implementation and integration of our course curriculum for our corporate clients. Michele actively teaches Rescue 7 Inc.’s Emergency Response Training Programs. Outside of work, Michele enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and volunteering as a board member of the PA at her  daughter’s school.

Sean Collie

Born and raised in Markham ON, Sean joined the Rescue 7 team in 2023. Completed his Bachelor of Commerce at the University of British Columbia in 2019. At UBC Sean was apart of the baseball team, created his own t-shirt that was sold in the campus bookstore and moonlighted as the Thunderbird mascot. Sean is currently managing the finance and human resource departments of Rescue 7. An avid athlete you can find Sean at the baseball diamond or on the links playing golf.

Leslie Vanderkooy

Leslie joined our team in 2011 with over 10 years’ experience in customer service, project management and office administration. She has completed Human Relations, Ontario Management Development Program through Seneca College.

Tracey Campbell

Tracey comes to Rescue 7 with 12 years’ experience in Executive Administration, and 4.5 years as a licensed real estate salesperson from New York City. While she lived in NYC, she devoted her time to tutoring economically disadvantaged students from elementary level to high school, as part of the “No Child Left Behind Act of 2001”. In addition, she was a member of Corcoran Cares, an in-house non-profit organization that supports several charitable and philanthropic organizations within New York and Florida.  Tracey received her B.A. at the City University of New York – Baruch College, where she majored in Corporate Communications.  Tracey schedules corporate clients for all training session.

Bhumil Shah

Bhumil, a business graduate from India, has been an integral part of Rescue 7 Inc. since 2015. With a background in advertising sales and client servicing, he brings a wealth of experience to his role, where he excels in managing current clients, acquiring new customers, designing marketing material, and providing essential technical support for AEDs. Beyond the professional realm, Bhumil finds joy in backcountry camping, photography, and the art of cooking Indian cuisine. His diverse skills and passion for both work and leisure make him a dynamic and valuable member of the Rescue 7 team.

Colleen Lini

Colleen joined our team in 2014 with 3 years of customer service experience. Excelling in learning new things, Colleen is very energetic, personable and reliable. Colleen has won various awards for her ongoing passion in sports for example; Hockey, Ball hockey, Baseball, Volleyball, Lacrosse.

Lindsay Bryant

Lindsay joined us in 2022 with a wealth of experience and knowledge in customer service. She prides herself on finding solutions for our clients. Her interests include travel and all things aviation, and she has a love for animals – especially German Shepherds.

Don Barker

Don joined Rescue 7 in 2020 after working 31.5 years at The Toronto Transit Commission as a mechanic. Don manages our warehouse and is responsible for printing all our training manuals, distribution of product, and inspecting and installing AED’s. Don enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children, golfing, coaching hockey and spending time at the cottage

Trevor Randorf

Joining Rescue 7 in June 2024, Trevor is a graduate from Wilfrid Laurier University where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Media Studies (with Honours). He brings a variety of experience ranging from customer service, marketing, and even IT repair. Trevor worked for Rescue 7 during the 2020 pandemic as a frontline worker performing vaccine administration, and covid testing for pop-up clinics. We are excited to have him back as an Account Executive to serve our customers for their daily needs and help them achieve their long-term goals. Outside of work, Trevor enjoys hanging out with friends, playing golf, baseball, or hockey, or watching his Toronto Blue Jays, and Vancouver Canucks.

Shannon

Shannon Carpenter

Shannon started with Rescue7 in 2024 assisting with office administration. Having worked many customer service roles, Shannon recognizes the importance of creating a pleasant customer experience by always maintaining her friendly and positive demeanour to ensure every interaction is handled with care and professionalism. She takes pride in her attention to detail, which helps maintain a smooth and organized work environment.
Outside of work, Shannon enjoys staying active by working out, playing tennis, and taking long walks with her dog, Bernie.
