The University of Toronto recently released an article about the importance of having AEDs that are accessible at all hours – even after the buildings they are traditionally kept in are locked up for the night.
Did you know that Rescue 7 is the Canadian distributor of a new product – an outdoor AED cabinet? The cabinet is heated and ventilated, with a light and temperature sensor, and optional photo surveillance. The cabinet can also be monitored through a remotely-accessed software application, which can route data automatically via SMS or email.
This has been the leading outdoor AED cabinet product in European markets for 8 years, and has just recently been brought to North America.
