CSA Intermediate Workplace First Aid Recertification Course
This 1-day recertification course is designed for individuals who currently hold a valid CSA Intermediate (Standard) First Aid certification and wish to renew their credentials before expiry. The program provides 6.5 hours of focused curriculum time, reinforcing essential knowledge and practical skills required to respond confidently to workplace emergencies.
Participants who have maintained a current certification may be eligible to enroll in this refresher course. Recertification must be completed prior to the expiration of the original 3-year certification period. Once the certification has expired, participants are required to complete either the full two-day Standard First Aid/CPR/AED course or the Blended Online Standard First Aid program.
This course reviews and reinforces key first aid competencies, including patient assessment, injury and illness management, and emergency response procedures. CPR and AED training follows the latest ILCOR 2020 Guidelines, ensuring alignment with current best practices in resuscitation.
Important Requirement:
Participants must bring a copy of their current certificate to the training session for verification on the day of the course.
