Course Description

In this intensive two-day Marine Basic First Aid course, participants will gain the skills to identify and respond to critical emergencies in a marine setting. The program emphasizes practical, hands-on training, equipping students with essential lifesaving techniques tailored for the marine and fishing sectors. This course complies with the standards set by Transport Canada as detailed in Transport Publication (TP) 13008 E.

Who Can Benefit From This Course

The Basic Marine First Aid program aims to equip individuals working on ships with essential first aid skills. This training is mandatory for anyone seeking a rating certificate or endorsement, as well as those pursuing a Master or Chief Mate Limited certificate. Additionally, it is required for the individual assigned to deliver first aid during near-coastal voyages, class 2, or sheltered waters journeys.

Certifications
