***NEW COURSE ALERT***FIREFIGHTER TECHNICAL PREP & SKILLS REFRESHER
This one-day practical skills based refresher course is designed to provide hands on experience with firefighting equipment. Candidates will be working with well-trained and full-time firefighters, which will put you through fire ground skill scenarios. The course will cover, but not limited to:
– Ropes and Knots
– Search and Rescue
– Ventilation
– Ladder Carry and Ladder Raise
– Hose and Hose Appliance
– EMR Refresher
Prerequisites: Completed or are in the process of completing their pre-service or have a knowledge of firefighter’s skills as set out in the IFSTA manual.
Class size: 4-6
Length of course: 10-12 hours

Last week, Rescue 7 took part in a very special event hosted in partnership by The Ultimate Leafs Fan and the #ChaseMcEachernMemorialFund. Complete with iconic players of Toronto Maple Leafs past, Mike Wekerle from Dragons’ Den and a room filled with history, the evening was one for the books.
